Camp Thompson offers two specialty camps throughout the season.
Some campers do better when the whole family comes to camp! Camp Thompson provides a unique weekend getaway for your family, friends and neighbors. Families can rent or share a cabin with another family and participate in exciting camp activities throughout the weekend. It is our hope that this fun shared family experience will better prepare your camper for a successful resident camp experience.

Is your camper begging you to go to camp, but you are not sure if the week-long experience is right for him or her? We offer a shortened week in June that gives younger campers an opportunity to try Camp Thompson and all the fun it has to offer. Staff ratios are kept low to provide extra support and reassurance as needed. The My First Overnight experience is similar to the full Camp Thompson Resident Camp experience, so when they are ready the transition is quick and easy.
