C.I.T Program

The C.I.T. program focuses on leadership, communication, counseling and activity skills necessary to become a counselor. If selected, CITs are required to do one week at each of our Camp locations: YADC, New Frontiers, and Camp Thompson Day and Resident Camp, ( see weeks below) depending on your performance you may do additional weeks. This is an unpaid, volunteer program. There is no fee for participation. Applications must be submitted by May 18, 2026 and interviews will be conducted.

  • Ready, Set, Camp is also available to help at those above dates
• Camp Thompson Day Camp : June 29- July 2nd * no camp July 3
• Camp Thompson Resident weeks : July 5 – 10 | July 12 – 17 | July 19 – 24 | July 26 – July 31
