C.I.T Program

The C.I.T. program focuses on leadership, communication, counseling and activity skills necessary to become a counselor. If selected, CITs are required to do one week at each of our Camp locations: YADC, New Frontiers, and Camp Thompson Day and Resident Camp, ( see weeks below) depending on your performance you may do additional weeks. This is an unpaid, volunteer program. There is no fee for participation. Applications must be submitted by May 18, 2024 and interviews will be conducted.

Schedule 2024

• 2024 NF or YADC weeks : June 10- June 28 | July 8-Aug 2 | Aug 5 – Aug 16th
  • Ready, Set, Camp is also available to help at those above dates
• Camp Thompson Day Camp : July 1-3rd * no camp July 4th/5th
• Camp Thompson Resident weeks : July 7 – 12 | July 14 – 19 | July 21 – 26 | July 28 – August 2
